Now, how the heck do you control your life and happiness when there’s a bunch of crazy things going on around you?! Mindset. It’s the secret sauce to life. 🥣
Honestly, I don’t know where I’d be today if I didn’t know how to constantly work on my mindset. I do know that I wouldn’t be working for myself. Heck, I might not even have a business.
Creating the life of your dreams starts with a solid mindset. Don’t believe you can actually create the life of your dreams? Mindset. Aren’t happy with the way you feel about yourself? Mindset. Nervous about a test? Mindset. Have anxiety? Mindset. Stressed to the max? Mindset.
Now I know what you’re thinking....
“Holy guac 🥑, you’re telling me that I can change my life just with a little mindset work?!”
Two words - PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
I know what you are thinking now...
"I'm not picking up one of those cheesy self help books.."
I know how you feel.
I said the exact thing before I actually dove right into my first one.
The truth is...we all need help.
We all have our struggles. We all have our doubts. We are all a little crazy inside. We all fall into a slump sometimes. WHY? Because we are all human.
This is why it is so important to continuously work on our mindset.
When I first started working my mindset I said, "I really do not have time for this. I mean I barely have time to work a full time job, go to college, and run my business on the side. How the heck am I supposed to read a book too?!"
But I made myself start and I began with 10 minutes a day. I would do this by reading a PD book every day before work. After little time doing this I realized how much it really changed my mood during the day. It was crazy. I felt so clear minded and energetic. Basically, I felt like I could rule the world.
Soooo I bumped it up to listening to personal development podcasts and audio books while getting ready for work. After doing this for a while I also started listening to them when I worked my business after work. Quickly, I learned that working on my mindset was one of my new favorite hobbies.
If you aren’t already working on yourself for at least for 10 minutes a day...you really should be - for the sake of your sanity. For those who are new to this thing feel free to reach out.
